Birthday Card for Tyson

My nephew's birthday is today! He turns 9 and I am so proud of him. What a little cutie! Ty is really into fantasy, big time reader and loves dragons. So I drew him a giant dragon lighting the candle to his birthday cupcake. Hope you like it, buddy!

This one took me 3 hours to finish. Got sick last night from dehydration and couldn't finish the inking until 12:30 am. That was a bummer. But I did get to watch the movie "Chef" twice before I had to take a quick shower and head off to bed. I couldn't find my white ink! I looked everywhere so I had to resort to my acrylic and that took some time to let it dry. It's hard when you have a tiny room and a lot of art supplies.

This was inked with Faber Castel and toned with acrylic on speckled paper.
